*DATASET-NAME: Wave data in the Venice Lido port (SISS Project: 1992-93)

*TIME-PERIOD: From December 1992 to February 1993.

*GEOGRAPHIC-COVERAGE: Buoy position: 45° 25.63'N - 012° 25.54'E

*PROJECT: SISS, on behalf of Snamprogetti S.p.A.

*PARAMETERS: Significant wave height Hmo, Maximum wave height Hmax, Mean period time Tm0,2, Sea level.

*INSTRUMENTS: Mooring with two DRUCK pressure sensors.

*SUMMARY: The data were collected in the framework of an environmental study in the Venice lagoon.
The experimental activity is based on a buoy moored at 4,5 metres of depth equipped with two DRUCK pressure sensors at 3,01 and 1,82 metres respectively, two CTD sensors and two OBS sensors.
The data were sampled at at one-hour interval. The complete set consists of 2804 recordings.
